Download OCCT 14 – A free application is designed to benchmark and overclock system components
OCCT:
OCCT is a free application designed to benchmark and overclock system components. Test tool OverClock includes 4 different tests to assess the stability of your computer. CPU and CPU: Linpack to test the processor, GPU: 3D to check stability of the graphics processor and power supply combination of CPU: Linpack and GPU: 3D to download power of you up to the maximum and see Install Tweak Tool .
The features of OCCT
- Support is enabled for a maximum of 16 cores.
- All the tests can be customized by a number of criteria such as priority, duration, RAM, CPU, etc.
- Detection is enabled for the CPU and Motherboard.
- Monitoring is supported through the application of 3rd party such as Speedfan, MBM5 and Everest Ultimate Edition 3.5 and above.
- The option to create charts showing temperature and voltages during the test.
- Support many languages.
OCCT program
The main task of the OCCT program is to apply load on the CPU, GPU, RAM and other computing components to a level close to the limit, and parallel testing of the power supply system under the resulting conditions. During the entire testing period, various technical information about the current state of the modules being tested is displayed on the screen in the form of tables and graphs.
In total, the OCCT program provides 4 testing modes, each of which has its own settings:
- CPU: OCCT. Testing mode for the central processor, RAM, and motherboard chipset by loading them with mathematical calculations, tasks for processing large data arrays, etc. The program allows testing both 32-bit and 64-bit processors. All existing instruction sets are supported, including AVX.
- CPU: LINPACK. This mode tests only the central processor. During the test, the CPU is subject to high load, so it can heat up significantly. It is not recommended to run this mode on computers with an inefficient cooling system. CPU: LINPACK testing allows you to evaluate the stability of 32-bit and 64-bit CPUs separately. Depending on the settings, you can test processors that support and do not support the AVX instruction set. There is also a separate testing mode for multi-core CPUs.
- GPU: 3D. This mode tests the graphics processor by playing a three-dimensional image. For diagnostics, the DirectX 9 or DirectX 11 graphics accelerator is used (depending on the version installed on the PC). The user can set the complexity of 3D shaders (rendering) within the range from 1 to 7 units, and also set the maximum FPS value (or turn off restrictions altogether).
- POWER SUPPLY. Computer power supply system testing mode. During testing, the central and graphic processors are mainly loaded. The main task of the program is to read the readings from all voltage sensors and record its value at times of load.
One of the features of the OCCT program is parallel (during the test) saving of images with reports to the computer hard drive, allowing you to view the technical condition of the PC modules at any time after the diagnostics are completed. This function helps, among other things, to determine the cause of malfunctions on computers that spontaneously terminate their work during the execution of certain tasks.
